The Frenchtown Holistic Fair

Rain or Shine!

 

Holistic practitioners and vendors from Hunterdon County and Bucks County will be on site to perform live demonstrations and consultations as well as offer products for sale.

Bring the children as River Valley School will be on site with craft making for kids, and River Union Stage will perform a reading from Dr. Seuss "Oh, The Places You Will Go!".

Live musical entertainment will be performed by local artist including Frenchtown's own Val and the Mighty Mojo and Michael Fisher (see below for a complete schedule).

The closing of the Fair will include a full circle of live drumming which will begin at 5:00PM. Everyone is encouraged to bring a percussion instrument and join in on this magnificent experience of soulful drumming.

Sassafras Cards, Gifts and Home

of Frenchtown NJ and the Kallari Association of the Amazonian Rainforest in South America are holding a special exhibition and sale of eco-friendly arts and crafts from the Amazon in conjunction with the Frenchtown Holistic Fair. Featured that day will be a selection of the artisans work which include wooden bowls, mini canoes, boat paddles, hats, jewelry, bags and belts all made from natural sustainably harvested materials like seeds, fibers, branches and vines from the Rainforest.

 
The Kallari Association was established in 1997 to develop economic alternatives to rainforest destruction and preserve ancient skills and techniques that are a part of the local culture. The association has grown over the last decade from 50 families to over 360 all located in the Napo River Region of the Ecuadorian Amazon.
 
Carol Robinson, The Kallari Association's U.S. representative will be on hand to discuss the Association's work and marvelous handcrafted objects.
