Large Asana Room

Time Event Presenter Description
11:15 am-12:30 Structural Yoga Therapy class Bonnie Pariser This class is for people with injuries or those new to yoga. This class will focus on breathing, lessening stress, and moving in harmony with any restrictions and/or injuries.
12:50-2:10 pm Level 1-2 yoga class Aniko A class for those who may have practiced before and want a review of the basics, or people who are brand new to yoga and want a more physical practice.
2:30-3:15 pm Teen Yoga Risa Sackman For ages 12-15. Risa will explore yoga practices with the young adults that can help smooth transitions and reconnect with changing bodies.
3:30-5:00 pm Mixed level yoga class Kristin Tomlinson Great class for those who have an established yoga practice and can flow thru asanas. 
5:15-6:00 pm Kids Yoga  (families welcome) Bonnie Pariser For ages 4-8. Moms and dads welcome to stay and participate.
6:15-7:30 pm Belly dancing demo and class Michelle DeVine For anyone who wants to learn this exotic art! Michelle will demo some dances with her troupe and then teach some moves.
8:00 pm The Dhamma Brothers, a critically acclaimed film by Jenny Phillips. East meets West in the Deep South.

Question and answer session about how Yoga Therapy can be applied one-on-one for specific conditions. See how a home yoga practice can benefit you and increase the quality of your life.

2:00-2:45 pm Meditation Scott Hale Learn about the practice of stilling the mind using one pointed concentration. Scott will speak about practical applications and introduce a practice.
3:00-4:00 pm Qi Gong Paul Sher Paul will introduce this ancient chinese movement technique designed to increase your chi and eliminate disease.  Paul holds several high ranking belts in a variety of martial arts systems. 4:15-5:15 pm Live Food Diet Matthew Warner Matthew will speak on the benefits and beauty of a live food diet. Samples some of his delicacies!  Matthew is a live food chef and live food nutritional guide.www.livefoodist.com/index.html
5:30-6:30 pm Faure Nutrition Catherine Faure

Deepen your knowledge of whole foods. Good food need not be expensive or unpalatable. There will be a cooking demonstration that will include tasting the final product.  This promises to be delicious and informatiive.  www.faurenutrition.com

7:30-8:00 pm Chanting Gabriel Call and response chanting, everyone can join in!
