A course to increase your range of motion, brain function, balance and overall health by creating fascia freedom, reducing stress,
and being part of a community.
If you have found your body is not working as well as it used to and that it is hard to get moving after a night’s sleep, if you find your balance is getting worse and you realize you can’t turn your head to pull out of a parking space, and if you want to be a part of an program proven to , read on…
In Reclaiming Your Body, yoga therapist Bonnie Pariser will guide you through a 7 week session that is designed to get you loose, open, hydrated and invigorated! Everything you learn in the program will be easy to translate into a home practice, so when the course if finished you can maintain your new body.
Here is how it works:
Introduction class and assessment
In this first meeting you will learn about your fascia and what happens to it as we age, why joints get stiff, and why your back or neck might hurt during stressful times. We will also do an assessment of your range of motion, posture, breathing capacity and your balance so we have something to compare it with at the end of the course. You will be sent a questionaire prior to the class so you can share your problem areas and movements you struggle with so these can be assessed and recorded.
Your weekly classes-
There will be a one-hour classes per week that you will attend as a group on Wednesday evening at 6:30. In these classes we will practice the Joint Freeing Series and strengthening exercises and TRE. Recorded guided meditations will be sent to you so you can follow them at home. All classes will be video recorded so you can follow along for your homework, or in case you miss one in person. You can also Zoom in for the meetings if you prefer to attend remotely.
Your Mentor-
You will have a mentor check-in once a week minimum. The mentors are all experienced with the practices. They will help you to stay on track, assist in refining your home practice if needed, and can just lend an ear to listen to your reflections and observations.
Your Homework-
You will be asked to practice at home a few times a week. The more you practice the better you will feel. You will also be given dietary suggestiions which are of course optional. (Nothing major!) You will also be asked to record your practices along with your experiences with the things that troubled you at the start (Sleep, balance, digestion, etc)
Fascia Release-
You will either have 2 private AFR sessions (1/2 hour each), or we will schedule 2 online classes that will teach you how to release your fascia at home if you are too far away to attend.
Closing session
Our final session will include a practice and time to reflect on our experiences. We will also discuss how you can continue to work at home and find your motivation to stay loose!

Investment-
$350 for the 7 week session
Tuition includes all meeting dates,
1 or more check in with your mentor per week,
2 half hour AFR session with Bonnie OR Zoom sessions to teach you how to work on fascial release yourself. (to be scheduled)
Class and meditation recordings to follow along at home
Payment is by check or cash and required in full at the beginning of the session.
Work study is available to those who absolutely need it.
